Community Grant Recipient Spotlight
"Picture of Health" program focuses on the Holistic Wellness of Breast Cancer Survivors
Through Komen's community grant funding initiative, the Picture of Health program, located at the End Results Health & Wellness Center in Torrance, currently offers no cost strength and conditioning training classes to cancer survivors as they prepare for surgeries as well as supporting them to regain strength after surgery. Nutritional guidance, educational services and support is provided to individuals with breast cancer and survivors.
For more information, please call 424-390-4008.
Meet Rosie Wider, a 17-year breast cancer survivor, who has been a member of End Results throughout her courageous journey.
She attributes her good health to her trainers – Dominic, Curtis, and everybody who works at End Results.
Rosie is “delighted to be in good health” so she can continue this fight - “fighting like a girl”!
